I was very pleasantly surprised by the time I was done reading this one! I am very tired of the same story told by every romance author out there....This, to me, was not so much about the romance aspect (although that was nicely written), but the journey of the heroine to try to get her HEA....I have been in her shoes, paying off the ex's bills, living in a bad place, feeling like nothing, living one step at a time. I revisited the despair, the utter hopelessness of her situation. I an normally not a fan of a story being told from one person's point of view, but it worked for this one! The ending was a shock, but then I realized that maybe there would be a part 2 coming? I can live with that....if not, that is no biggie either, we all don't get the HEA that we want....sometimes just being happy is all we want....Will be adding Karen to my watch list and read more, I am sure she won't disappoint me!Product details

This author wrote a very unique story, its not your typical love story. The story is told through the female character. It revolves around her lack of love life and the hurt she feels about it. Most of the story is background of her life in her head, the book is based on the number 11. Her past 10 heartbreaks, she's looking for number 11, noticing the number 1111 on the clock..Her friends come in and try to be there for her and try to find her another love of her life. In walks the male character. This guy sounds too good to be true, he's sexy, rich, single. And she can't help but want him....this story is unique and thought it interesting....no names are shared ( not one character has a name) !!.., very interesting writing. I enjoyed the book.
I hate leaving a bad review for anything, especially writing. I fully get how much time and effort it takes to write something. But this was just... bad. The writing was disjointed, the plot did not move at all. The ending did not make sense... I don't know. I did not experience the same book that other readers did.
Truly an amazing story by an amazing author. I experienced every emotion possible! A true must read! Thank you, Karen for this beautiful story!!!!!!
Oh my goodness... Everything you want in a story is right here. I laughed. I cried. I related. Karen is a amazing writer. Every detail was very well visualized by the reader. Every emotion she felt I felt.

What a fantastic read! Couldn't put it down and even had to turn on a movie for my kids so I could lock myself away to finish! I know they were wondering why mama was crying in the bathroom! Every story Karen S. Rodgers tells seems like a familiar one, and yet she always manages to surprise you. A+++++++
First and formost it is refreshing to find a story that is written about a women who has lived life not that of young 18 to 20ish something. The author made me feel like I was right there with each experience she wrote about. I could smell the sage and see the West Texas landscape in each word. I could feel the heat coming from both of them, this about real Texas woman and a real Texas man. I laughed, I fanned myself and I cried. I can't wait to read the next Journey.
